How do I know which mounting option to use (Barrel, Shaft, Panoramic)?

Choosing the right mounting option depends on your trolling motor setup, available shaft space, and the type of sonar perspective you’re aiming for.

  • Barrel Mount is ideal for users with limited shaft space or those who want a fixed angle that’s easy to install and adjust.
  • Shaft Mount gives you a clean, compact profile and works well if you have ample shaft clearance. It allows for smooth transitions between sonar views.
  • Panoramic Mount offers the most versatility. It includes an extension arm with a built-in 11.25 angle shift, letting you seamlessly switch between Forward, Down, and Perspective (panoramic) modes. It works best at around 3-15ft of water, it does not work well in deeper water.

Panoramic Mount (shaft + angled arm) is ideal for shallow water and straight-on viewing. Barrel and Shaft mounts offer traditional setups that are easy to align and install.

Not sure which to pick? You can always switch later-your PingLive system is designed to be modular and adaptable.
