How to Connect to your PingLive Type-C Brick


So, you just wired up your PingLive Type-C Brick and are getting ready to connect for the first time. Instead of fumbling around with your user manual, get fishing faster with this helpful step-by-step visual guide. 

This guide will walk you through the general connection process, helping you establish a direct and stable communication link between your tablet and the sonar hardware.


First, ensure that your Type-C Brick is properly connected to your power supply, and the transducer cable is plugged into the Brick securely. 

Connect the USB-C cable to your Type-C Brick and Tablet, and power on the device. 

In your iPad or iPhone Settings application, follow these next steps: 

Turn Off WiFi to prevent interference

Select Ethernet

Choose 10/100Mbps Ethernet interface

Tap Configure IP and select Manual

Enter the following: 

IP Address: 192.168.10.88

Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

Open the Accuphy Sonar application and begin using your device!
