How do I adjust the angle of the transducer?

The PingLive system is designed for precise angle control, so you can dial in the perfect sonar view for your fishing conditions.

Here’s how it works:

  • For Barrel and Shaft mounts, the transducer rotates in 22.5 increments using the built-in mounting teeth.
  • For the Panormaic mount, adjustments are even finer 11.25 per step.

To adjust:

  1. Loosen the knob on the mount.
  2. Rotate the transducer to your desired angle using the teeth for alignment.
  3. Tighten the knob securely once the correct position is set.

Each mount is designed to hold its position securely, even in rough water or during high-speed movement–so once you set your angle, it stays set.

Route the cable carefully to avoid:

  1. Contact with the propeller
  2. Pinch points when the motor is stowed or deployed
  3. Interference from nearby electrical wiring

Clean routing not only protects the cable but also reduces the chane of sonar interference or signal dropouts.
