Proper alignment is key to getting  accurate sonar readings. Each PingLive mount has designated notches and reference points to help you install the transducer correctly the first time. 

To align the transducer:

1. Line up the notch on the transducer with the correct mounting point (varies by view and side-see installation guide diagrams).
2. Make sure the letter marking (A, B, or C depending on the mount type) and the arrow symbol are both facing upward.
3. Once aligned, tighten the securing knob to hold the transducer firmly in place.

Tip: The Accuphy Sonar App allows you to fine-tune angle and depth settings (Home > Select view > Options) for even greater accuracy based on how your transducer is mounted. 

Getting it right at the hardware level ensures what you see on-screen reflects what’s really below the surface.
